What is Integrated Engineering?
Integrated engineering is a multidisciplinary field of engineering focused on combining multiple fields of engineering such as Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Biological, and more to solve real-world problems society is facing today. At the UBC Vancouver campus, Integrated Engineering was designed to equip students with a wide range of knowledge and strong technical skills to enter the workplace with the ability to adapt to changes in society.
What to Expect in ASAP: Integrated Engineering
Participants may explore the advancements and discoveries in robotics, machines, chemical and biological processes, and product design, and how all these interact together to create meaningful solutions for people. Participants will be exposed to several hands-on activities, tours and a week-long project with a presentation at the end of the program. This stream may also look at the economic and societal impacts on the changing community and on the engineering industry.
Let’s take a look at an example!
